Painter/Prepper

Job Role

Our client is a well established manufacturer near Stamford. They are currently seeking a Skilled Painter/Prepper to join their dynamic team. If you take pride in high-quality finishes, have an eye for detail, and work well in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepping surfaces for painting, including sanding, masking, and priming
  • Mixing and applying paint using spray guns or other methods
  • Inspecting surfaces and finished jobs for quality and consistency
  • Maintaining a clean and safe workspace
  • Performing minor repairs as required
  • Working independently or as part of a team to meet deadlines

Person Specification:

  • Proven experience as an industrial painter/prepper
  • Knowledge of paint mixing and application techniques
  • Ability to read job cards and follow instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic
  • Knowledge of health & safety practices in a workshop environment
  • A valid driver's license (preferred)

Hours of Work and Pay:

  • £13.21/hour
  • 7:30am - 4:30pm Mon to Thurs.
  • 7:30am - 11:30pm Friday
  • 38 hours per week.
  • Free on-site parking
