Capio Recruitment is delighted to be working with a Top 200 law firm to find an ambitious and motivated Commercial Property Paralegal to join their busy and growing team in Stamford. The Role:

As a Commercial Property Paralegal, you will provide vital support to solicitors and fee earners within the department, handling a varied caseload of commercial property matters. You will assist with transactions relating to leases, acquisitions, disposals, and developments, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of high-quality legal services to clients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with commercial property transactions, including the drafting of leases, contracts, and other legal documents.
  • Conducting legal research and due diligence, including title investigations, searches, and property reports.
  • Liaising with clients, solicitors, lenders, and other third parties to ensure smooth progress of transactions.
  • Managing and maintaining accurate case files, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Supporting fee earners with the preparation of documentation for property sales, purchases, and lease agreements.
  • Providing administrative support, including diary management, client correspondence, and billing tasks.
The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will be a proactive and organised individual with prior experience in a legal role, ideally within commercial property or conveyancing. You will demonstrate excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding client service.

You will need:

  • A degree in law (LLB or equivalent), or a legal qualification such as the LPC, or significant experience in a commercial property role.
  • Previous experience as a paralegal in commercial property or a related area.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
  • A commercial mindset and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using legal case management systems and a high level of IT literacy.
