Field Service Engineer

£30,000 - £34,000 + Benefits

We are looking for a motivated Field Service Engineer to join a manufacturing company. Reporting directly to the Field Service Manager you will be a key member in ensuring the companies clients are provided with the top service and after sales experience. You will be involved in all aspects of planned maintenance within their operation. With progressive training and development this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers.

You will be responsible for carrying out planned preventive maintenance schedules on customer sites in the UK and Worldwide. The position will appeal to a strong engineer looking for their next challenging role on the road within in a secure and stable company.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

· Attend service and breakdown visits across the UK.

· Attend occasional service and breakdown visits across the rest of the world.

· Identify and supply replacement parts to customers in a time-critical manner.

· Rectify electrical and Siemens software issues.

· Complete service sheets electronically on an iPad and submit to the Spares & Service coordinator in a timely manner.

· Visiting key customers regularly to maintain customer satisfaction on days without a pre-booked visit.

· Deliver an extremely high standard of customer support.

· Prioritise the technical concerns and issues of customers from many locations.

· Waste Handling Systems Experience - advantageous

The Ideal Candidate:

· A positive and outgoing attitude, even when dealing with difficult situations.

· Willing to travel extensively and be away from home regularly.

· Field Service Experience - Advantgeous

· Professional and well-presented.

· Be willing to work additional hours to complete projects.
