Global Training Engineer

£38,000 - £40,000

We are looking for a motivated Training Manager to join a market leading company in their respective field. Reporting directly to the Service Manager you will be a key member in ensuring site projects are completed. With progressive training and development this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers. The position will appeal to a strong project engineer looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company.

Role Description

  • Providing direct support for all products supplied through the companies factory. Support is provided by telephone, email, remote connection or on site, dependent on each individual case.
  • Use SAP B1 system to log service call details, fault codes and resolutions from initial contact to final resolution.
  • To develop and maintain training material for products for different levels; Customer/Operator training, Service Provider training, and internal staff training and mentoring.
  • Deliver training content to customers, service providers and internal staff, globally or through remote sessions.
  • Assess trainees through practical and theoretical assessments, to allow 'Approved Load Bank Technician' certification to be issued.
  • Manage trainee database, certification, and skills matrix to gain a better understanding of available resource globally.
  • Contributing to the product and internal documentation.
  • Liaise with Sales department for preparing all necessary service quotations.
  • Liaise with Design, Production and Sales departments to aid in the continuous improvement of products and inform where future sales opportunities may be present.
  • Ensure all Statutory and Corporate Health and Safety, Environmental, Quality System and International Trade Compliance procedures are followed, and requirements are met.
  • Maintain Company standards, behaving in an ethical and professional manner in all business activitie

Skills and Qualifications

  • ONC or equivalent Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience in a service role including worldwide travel.
  • Preferably undergone formal training, such as a structured apprenticeship.
  • 2+ year training experience.
