Sonic Summary

The Panel Wireman position is a 3-month rolling contract based in Peterborough, offering £20 per hour on a LTD basis and is outside IR35.
Candidates are expected to have proven experience in panel wiring within an industrial environment and must understand schematics and layout drawings.
Key responsibilities include fabricating panels, installing electrical components, wiring, and basic testing of control panels.
An electrical qualification, such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, along with the ability to fault find and repair control panels, is required.
The role offers Monday to Friday 10-hour shifts with plenty of overtime available for those interested.

The day-to-day responsibilities of the Panel Wirer will include the following:

Fabricate panels and fit electrical components according to detailed engineering drawings
Drilling, Tapping, Trunking, Conduit of panel etc
Installing electrical components such as circuit breakers, fuses, PLC's Power supplies, motors, drives etc
Wiring panels – crimping soldiering, terminating, stripping wires
Basic testing of control panels

The Panel Wireman must possess the following skills & experience:

Proven experience in panel wirer within an industrial environment
Understanding schematics and layout drawings
Expertise in panel modification, building and machine wiring
Electrical qualification, NVQ LVL 3 or equivalent or apprentice trained
ability to fault find and repair a variety of control panels
Hardworking, reliable and enthusiastic
Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members
