Maintenance Electrician, £51,000, Days 07:00 – 15:00, 27 + 8 days bank holiday.

This role includes a 1 in 5 week call out Friday night - Thursday Night. 

ATA is partnering with a leading industrial manufacturing group to recruit an experienced Maintenance Electrician for their site near Rutland. This global company, with a turnover exceeding €18 billion, operates in 60 countries and manages nearly 3,000 sites, making them the fourth-largest manufacturer of their kind worldwide. The Stamford site has been a cornerstone of the local community since 1929, offering consistent employment for nearly a century. Due to promotion, they are now looking to add a maintenance engineer of electrical bias to their team.

About the role

As a Maintenance Electrician you will be responsible for maintaining PLC controlled machinery within a production environment.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Planned preventive maintenance.
  • Reacting to breakdowns in a timely manner.
  • Electrical fault finding and fault rectification.
  • Maintaining 3 phase components, occasionally working on HV equipment.
  • Electrical installation.

About you

To be considered for this Maintenance Electrician position you should be/have the following:

  • Previous experience working as a maintenance electrician within a factory environment.
  • Experience working within manufacturing would be beneficial.
  • Strong electrical knowledge with experience working within control panels.
  • ·        Recognised qualification (BTEC, NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC, HND).
