If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!As a Process Burner Applications and Support Engineer, you will be instrumental in delivering top-tier technical support and driving sales across the EMEA region. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with our Process Burner Director and synchronise efforts with our Technical & Sales teams in the UK and USA. Your expertise will help shape our technical strategies and enhance our customer engagements, ensuring we meet and exceed client expectations while advancing our market presence. Key Responsibilities:
- Proposal Creation: Develop comprehensive proposals for revamp, retrofit, capital, and aftermarket projects, ensuring they meet customer expectations.
- Cost Estimates: Prepare market-based cost estimates to support sales efforts.
- Technical Support: Provide exceptional technical support to end users, including face-to-face interactions.
- Project Engagement: Collaborate closely with project and design teams to understand new product developments and existing technologies.
- Commercial Awareness: Utilise commercial insights to optimise proposal potential.
- Customer Interaction: Travel to customer facilities to present, discuss, and negotiate proposals.
- Relationship Building: Foster relationships with complementary suppliers and service groups to grow business.
- Vendor List Inclusion: Ensure we are on the vendor list for all relevant projects.
- Troubleshooting: Visit customer sites to troubleshoot equipment issues as needed.
- Additional Duties: Perform other relevant tasks based on your skills and experience.
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven Track Record in Technical Business Development: Demonstrated success in driving business growth and developing technical solutions.
- International Customer Experience: Experience working with international clients and a willingness to travel intermittently.
- Industry Expertise: Strong background in plant, petrochemical, and/or refinery environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Solid skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills: Confident and effective communicator with the ability to build strong relationships.
- Technical Sales and Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to sell complex technical solutions and negotiate successfully.
- Outstanding Communication and Teamwork: Excellent at conveying information, negotiating deals, and collaborating with team members.
- Resourceful and Detail-Oriented: Highly organised, dependable, and efficient with a keen eye for detail.
