Job Purpose

Easement Solutions (ESL) are the longest established land rights service in the country specialising in supporting utility companies with land rights acquisitions for electricity, gas, water and fibre connections. This role will provide administrative support to the whole team and will be a very varied and interesting post covering all aspects of our work.

Objectives of this role

• To assist the ESL team to deliver client needs in accordance with contractual obligations and agreements.

• To comply with business and legal codes of practice.

• To deliver excellent service to all clients and stakeholders.

• To provide the CEO, Directors, Client Account Managers and colleagues with administrative support in their roles.

Responsibilities

• Manage information in a timely and accurate manner.

• Format information for internal and external communication in line with ESL branding.

• Be an ambassador of company values and a role model for company policies and procedures.

• Communicate locally/internally/externally as needed to meet the objectives of this role.

Requirements and skills

• Good communication skills - both verbal and written

• Highly organised.

• Attention to detail.

• Good IT skills with proficiency in MS Office.

• Ability to promote a positive image of the organisation to employees, clients, partners, stakeholders, colleagues and the community.

Key tasks

• Providing reports/updates to clients as and when required, via email, over the phone or in person.

• Preparing for and welcoming visitors to the building and showing them to meetings.

• Assist with printing, issuing, signing of legal documents (under direction of Project Managers/senior management).

• Manage the post system.

• Close down files and ensure documents issued to correct parties.

• Use the database to review files with the Land Registry, contacting and following up where necessary.

• Assist with local authority highways searches.

• Manage the office stationery, ensuring the office is well equipped.

Role

• Part-time - 25 hours per week - hours worked can be flexible to suit successful candidate but must be cover every day.

• Office based.

• Salary banding: £22,000-£26,000 (pro-rata).

• Annual leave entitlement is 26 days per year plus Bank Holidays (pro-rata).

• Pension as per current legislation after three months.

• Vitality health membership after two years’ service.
