As one of the go-to Controls Engineer, you will modify existing programmes for a wide variety of projects, working within a specialist close knit team of engineers. There is the opportunity to develop your skillset with exposure to programming code from scratch, as well as progression routes to other areas of the business.
This company are a well-established Heavy Engineering manufacturer and off the back of recent success, now require an additional Controls Engineer to match the demands of an ongoing workload. This role would suit someone who has previously carried out some programming on existing projects, but is looking to progress technically and gain more experience in PLC programming as a whole.
DUTIES
* Modifying existing programming for a wide range of bespoke projects
* Training on advanced programming, as well as other technical areas
* Clear scope to become a technical specialist
PERSON
* Previously done some programming, with the drive to learn more
* Experience with TIA Portal as a minimum
* Happy to be based in the office, 5 days a week
