Our client near Stamford is seeking Mechanical Technicians due to a full order book and has immediate long-term positions available.
Candidates should have experience in a similar role and be capable of following clear procedures while reading technical drawings.
A mechanical apprenticeship or qualification is advantageous, along with the ability to use hand tools.
The position offers a starting salary ranging from £11.44 to £13.21 per hour, depending on experience, with overtime pay rates of 1.33 for the first four hours and 1.5 thereafter.
The role requires 38 hours of work per week, with Monday to Thursday hours from 07:30 to 16:30 and a shorter Friday shift.

Job Role

Due to a full order book our client based near Stamford, currently has immediate long term roles for competent individuals with mechanical experience to join their team.

Responsibilities:

Ability to read technical drawings
Able to follow manufacturing and quality procedures and standards
Meeting production schedules
Working in a Manufacturing Department

Requirements for the role:

Experience in a similar role
Capable of following clear and precise procedures
Mechanical aptitude is required, and a Mechanical apprenticeship or qualification would be an advantage
Ability to use hand tools

Hours and pay:

38 hours per week
Working Hours Monday to Thursday 07:30 to 16:30 30 mins lunch. Friday 07:30am - 11:30am
Starting salary £11.44 to £13.21ph DOE
Overtime @ 1.33 for the first 4 hrs @ 1.5 after.
