As a Plasterer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that surfaces are finished to the highest standards.

Duties

• Apply plaster to walls and ceilings, ensuring an even and smooth finish.
• Prepare surfaces for plastering by cleaning, repairing, and priming as necessary.
• Use hand tools and power tools effectively to achieve desired results.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters and bricklayers, to complete projects.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following health and safety guidelines.
• Perform repairs on existing plasterwork as needed.
• Assist with other construction tasks as required, including roofing work.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Plasterer or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to plastering.
• Knowledge of masonry techniques and bricklaying is advantageous.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Good physical fitness, as the role involves lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
