Quantity Surveyor - Office and Site based

Location: Lincolnshire

We are keen to speak with Quantity Surveyors on behalf of a specialist main-contractor who deliver outstanding buildings up to 5m.They promoteacollective team approach to success and maintain strong and mutually beneficial relationships with the supply-chain. Projects include refurbishment and new builds on stately homes, eccesiastical and unique residential builds.

As part of the project delivery team, the successful candidate will work collaboratively with the wider site team to deliver first class commercial support through communication, teamwork and accurate financial reporting.

Duties will include.

  • Assisting with the preparation of contracts, cash flow forecasts and final accounts.
  • Procurement of key trades, working in line with the project procurement strategy.
  • Managing supply chain relationships through building and maintaining strong relationships
  • Providing financial information for Work In Progress.
  • Undertake measures and re-measures.
  • Management and control of variations
  • Value, certify and issue any relevant payment notices for the subcontract works in accordance with the conditions of their subcontract.
  • Ensure that external valuations are submitted in accordance with conditions of the main contract and that payments are received by the due date.

Experience and Qualities:

Proven experience of working on new build or refurbishments projects in a similar role.
Effective communication and critical thinking skills.
Experience in re-measurement of key trades packages.
Be sincere and approachable
