A rapidly expanding UK & International freight forwarding organization is seeking a Sales Coordinator for their European groupage road freight services.
The role involves handling enquiries, generating sales leads, making outbound calls, and managing quotations and bookings.
The position is primarily office-based in Essex, with occasional client visits required.
Candidates should have sales experience and a good understanding of European road freight, as well as strong customer service skills.
The basic salary for this role is £35k, with an additional 10% annual bonus, and candidates should have relevant experience in sales.

a rapidly expanding UK & International freight forwarding organisation is looking for a sales coordinator to sell their European groupage road freight services, to take calls and bookings and to also generate sales leads, and call clients to sell the services. Will also require visiting clients when required, but mainly office based.

ROLE:Sales Coordinator - Road Freight

LOCATION: Essex

BASIC SALARY: £35k

BONUS: 10% annual bonus

ROLE: Handling enquiries for European groupage services.

Generating your own sales leads and making outbound, cold calls to new or prospective clients.

Responsible for own quotations and bookings, as well as supporting the wider sales team.

Liaising with customers, overseas partners, suppliers and internal teams.

Skills required:

Must have a good understanding of European road freight.

Sales experience

Capable of manually calculating costs and charges.

Understanding of taxable kilos.

Good customer service skills.

. Ability to work in a team but also be self-sufficient.
