Technologist

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Technologist to join our office based at London Gateway, Essex on a permanent basis.

Compagnie Fruitiere UK Ltd is a leading produce distributor in the UK, a part of a wider group with over 18,000 employees worldwide. As we work in a fast-paced industry, we require someone who is able to react quickly to changes in a proactive and energetic manner.

The overall purpose of the role will be to assist the Operations, Commercial, Technical and Procurement departments.

Key duties include:

  • Manage the site Quality Management system
  • Support and prepare for audits
  • Manage the internal audit system
  • Manage and update site documentation
  • Manage supplier and grower due diligence
  • Analyse supplier quality performance
  • Assist with new customer set ups

The ideal candidate will hold the following essential criteria:

  • At least three years’ experience in compliance management, with a supplier, customer, working in the food industry
  • Good knowledge of BRC global standard and HACCP
  • Highly numerate and computer literate
  • Ability to interface with people at all levels
  • Good communication skills and ability to produce detailed reports

Working week: Monday- Friday/ 1 day working from home

Holidays: 25 days + bank holidays

Salary: £40-45k depending on experience
