A1 Personnel are currently recruiting for a Laboratory Technician for a permanent contract on behalf of our client, a leading fuels supplier based in Stanford le Hope

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Carry out and reporting analysis on fuel, components, pilots and water samples, following both in-house and industry standardised test methods
  • Blending of a wide range of laboratory fuel blends and preparing additive solutions independently and consistently
  • Supporting the Laboratory Quality Management System
  • Calibrating and Standardising laboratory equipment aligned with the Laboratory Quality Management System
  • Adhering to HSE guidelines and best practice guidelines

Requirements:

  • Strong technical knowledge, communication and organisational skills
  • Imaginative and creative approach to problem solving
  • An interest in improving Quality Systems
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • HSE focussed
  • Ideally a Degree in Chemistry (or equivalent)
  • Experience of working in a laboratory is desirable
  • Familiarity with Fuels Laboratory Tests is preferred

Hours:

Monday to Friday : 9am-5.30pm
