Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and experienced ForkliftOperative to join our team in Linford, Essex. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift truck to support daily warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient movement of goods around the site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a Forklift Truck (FLT) to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse or distribution area.
- Ensure all stock is stored and handled safely and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining the warehouse, ensuring that goods are properly stored and easily accessible.
- Carry out regular checks and maintenance of the forklift, reporting any issues or faults.
- Maintain accurate records of stock movements and inventory levels.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required, including picking and packing.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (must have at least 1 year of FLT experience).
- MP Connect card preferred, as this is a requirement for access to the site.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or forklift operating role.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow health and safety protocols.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to meeting deadlines.
- Full-time hours: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
