Fuels Technician - 9 month FTC

Maternity cover starting late april/early may

Our client is a leading provider of high-quality fuel products, committed to innovation, sustainability, and excellence in fuel testing and analysis.

They are looking for a skilled Fuels Technician to join our dynamic team and support the fuel testing and quality control operations.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing multiple projects from start-to-finish.
  • Define formulation of a wide range of fuel blends fully independently and consistently, using a combination of blend formulation models and empirical blending.
  • The independent troubleshooting of arising problems during any step of a project, i.e., production, logistics or commercial related.
  • Identify new applications for fuel products using input from customers or marketing.
  • Identifying and implementing best new practise processes in coordination with the Technical Services Manager.
  • Assist in raw material blend component specification, sourcing, testing and approval.
  • Participation in customer meetings and providing pre- and post-sales customer technical support.
  • To provide leadership and mentoring to other members of the team.

Experience you’ll need:

  • A degree in Chemistry or similar
  • Familiarity with standard fuel test methods
  • HSE Focused
  • Project experience
