Job Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Manager to join a growing and dynamic team. This role involves leading the electrical maintenance team, managing day-to-day operations, quoting for reactive maintenance, overseeing scheduling, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will work closely with the NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor (QS) to maintain high levels of service and safety across all projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quoting & Estimating: Provide accurate quotes for reactive maintenance, based on site assessments, labour, materials, and other associated costs.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure full compliance with current electrical regulations, maintain certifications, and support the NICEIC QS to meet statutory requirements.
  • Scheduling & Allocation: Efficiently allocate and schedule maintenance engineers, prioritising urgent tasks and ensuring timely project completion.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor work quality and ensure adherence to health and safety standards, conducting regular site audits.
  • Client & Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary contact for clients, managing relationships, addressing any concerns, and providing timely updates on project statuses.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the electrical maintenance team, supporting ongoing professional development and compliance training.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Relevant electrical qualifications (HND, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in electrical maintenance management, preferably in a multi-site or FM environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Experience with maintenance management software and scheduling tools.
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Strong communication skills, both with clients and internal teams.
