Project Manager - Marine Groundworks: Leading Coastal Infrastructure DevelopmentA leading civil engineering firm, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead a complex and challenging marine groundworks project. This is an opportunity to contribute to a project that will shape the future of coastal infrastructure and contribute significantly to the region's economic development. Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Lead and manage all aspects of the project, ensuring its successful execution within budget, schedule, and quality standards.
  • Planning & Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, coordinating activities with subcontractors, internal teams, and stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Management: Maintain strong communication with clients, engineers, contractors, and regulatory agencies, fostering collaborative relationships and addressing concerns.
  • Safety First: Oversee the implementation of strict safety protocols and procedures for all marine groundworks activities, promoting a culture of safety awareness and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies to minimize potential delays or cost overruns.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed project documentation, including reports, plans, and as-built drawings, providing comprehensive records of the project's progress and outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Proven Experience: Proven experience as a Project Manager on major marine groundworks projects, demonstrating a deep understanding of the unique challenges and complexities of this field.
  • Technical Expertise: A strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations relevant to marine groundworks, including geotechnical considerations and environmental sensitivities.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate project teams, fostering collaboration and communication.
  • Communication & Negotiation: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building strong relationships, resolving conflicts, and communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving & Proactiveness: A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a commitment to delivering exceptional results under pressure.
