Are you a skilled HR professional looking for an exciting opportunity to shape and develop HR plans within a dynamic organisation? Our client, a leading company in their industry, is seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Manager to join their team. As the HR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-level people management support and driving the HR agenda within the organisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to managers and staff on HR matters, including casework, performance, attendance, and employee relations issues.
  • Influence and collaborate with leadership to drive the people agenda and maximise service performance.
  • Lead HR initiatives such as workforce planning, talent management, and ensuring legal compliance throughout the recruitment process.
  • Collaborate with recruitment agencies and manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from drafting job descriptions to conducting interviews.
  • Work with third-party providers to ensure the delivery of HR services that meet business needs and adhere to agreed standards and timescales.
  • Analyse and report HR information to support benchmarking and the development of effective HR strategies and solutions.
  • Stay up to date with legal requirements and develop HR policies in line with current legislation and best practises.
  • Support the implementation of the pay and reward strategy, including the production of annual reward statements and performance review processes.
  • Address HR-related business continuity issues, including TUPE.
  • Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to contracts, right to work checks, qualifications, and training requirements.
  • Manage the performance of the HR team and allocate responsibilities accordingly.
  • Assist in creating and developing health and safety policies, and ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.
  • Implement and monitor health and safety policies, manage emergency procedures, and respond to related complaints or issues.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar HR management role.
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation and best HR practises.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to influence and work collaboratively with leaders and staff.
  • Proficient in payroll processing and familiarity with relevant software.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent is desirable.
