Noble Recruiting are currently recruiting a confident and experienced Forwarding Administrator to join our friendly and proactive Client in their London Gateway Office.

Due to the nature of our roles, candidates must be a UK Resident residing within the local area. Please note we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

The purpose of this role will be to work within the General Import Operations division, as part of a team dealing with completion of all global Import Operations procedures and maintaining clear business records within the companies group system for which training will be provided.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Carry out preparations for Import Customs procedures through a sound working knowledge of CDS, Customs system being transmitted by our Brokerage COE team.
  • Set up and maintain clear business records and a customer client base in order that they are accessible to all members of staff within the in-house database system.
  • Understand invoicing procedures through our in-house accounting system.
  • Carry out all required global Import operational procedures, documents, Government Import authorities and global suppliers and customers requirements.
  • To understand the commercial side of operations and financial side of freight forwarding. Offer efficient and effective service to all customers both internal and external.
  • Any other reasonable duties required commensurate with the level of this position.
  • To fully understand and follow the requirements of the business, suppliers and customers to a professional manner as expected at all times

You will need:

  • Confident and outgoing individual.
  • Imports Experience required.
  • CW1 Knowledge would be ideal but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to communicate in a clear, concise, and logical manner both verbally and written.
  • Be able to organise and multi-task.
  • Good understanding of basic Freight Forwarding procedures is essential.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Driver with own transport is desirable.
  • UK resident and the right to work in the UK.
