Role: Maintenance Engineer
Shift: Mon-Fri Days (Flexible hours!)
Salary: Up to £55,000 (with O.T 1.5)

Our client operates a large maintenance facility, handling hundreds of thousands of containment vessels each year! With a strong turnover of roughly £50 million, they store, maintain and repair containers for companies who wish to store sugar, scrap, sand, or any other loads in bulk quantities. Our client has a solid maintenance function with a supportive environment, and they are currently looking for another motivated Maintenance Engineer to add to their team! They have proactively invested under £5 million in ongoing expansion projects!
The Role
As a Maintenance Engineer, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Working with industrial mechanical equipment and components such as gearboxes, shafts, rollers, sprockets, lifts, chain drives, hydraulics etc.
- Working electrically on sensors, safety relays, three phase kit etc.
- Getting stuck in with exciting Continuous Improvement Projects
- Working with a team on large industrial containers, freights, conware machines etc.
- Performing Reactive and Planned Preventative Maintenance
About You
The ideal Maintenance Engineer will have the following:
- A recognised engineering qualification
- Experience working with a maintenance engineering team
- A sound understanding of key mechanical and electrical components
- Fault finding skills
