We are seeking a dedicated Finance / Payroll Administrator to join our team. This role involves a range of duties from managing payroll processes to providing administrative support to the accounting department, including handling purchase ledger tasks. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in payroll and a keen eye for detail.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Provide information and answer employee queries regarding payroll-related matters.
  • Manage electronic timekeeping systems or manually collect and review timesheets.
  • Calculate payable hours, commissions, bonuses, tax withholdings, and deductions.
  • Prepare and issue earnings statements.
  • Issue paychecks and manage direct deposits.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • Coordinate with the HR department to ensure correct employee data is maintained.
  • Provide administrative assistance to the accounting department.
  • Analyse financial records to identify errors and discrepancies.
  • Regularly update all accounting ledgers and journals.
  • Handle purchase ledger tasks including processing invoices and reconciling supplier statements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Must have significant payroll experience.
  • Proficient in managing large sets of financial data and reporting on financial results.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial information.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of standard accounting and payroll software.
