Our client is the UK's leading sustainable building materials and construction solutions business based in Stanford-le-Hope and they currently have an opportunity for a General Site Operative to join their team as soon as possible!
The role is temporary and is estimated to last until the end of February initially however, this is likely to be extended depending on the needs of the business.
The hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 7am-3pm with a pay rate of £13.56 per hour.
This will be a very physical job working at a concrete bagging plant with duties to include:-
Working with packs of Aircrete Block stock placed on ground level
Unbanding and unbagging packs of concrete block
Broken blocks (weigh 9kg's each) will then be removed and discarded
Broken blocks will be replaced with new blocks to form a new pack for resale
Banding and bagging the new concrete pack
Please note, in order to be considered for this role you should be physically fit and able to do manual work and ideally, will have experience working in a similar site based role.
