A major UK & International freight forwarding company is seeking a European Freight Forwarding Operator to manage European groupage import and export services for key accounts.
The position is located in Essec and offers a basic salary ranging from £28,000 to £32,000.

ROLE: European Road Freight Operator

LOCATION: Essec

BASIC SALARY: £28k to £32k

ROLE:

Working within a freight forwarding groupage import and export department.

Handling European groupage import and export services.

Arranging movement of freight from origin to final destination, both international and national.

Liaising with customers, overseas partners and suppliers.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Must have a good understanding of European road freight, at least 2 years experience.

Capable of manually calculating costs and charges.

Understanding of taxable kilos.

Good customer service skills.

Experience with Customs paperwork.

Ability to work in a team but also be self-sufficient.
