Our Client:

Our client in the Loughborough area is seeking a skilled CNC Router Operator to join their production team. The CNC Router Operator will be responsible for operating CNC routers to fabricate parts for retail display stands. The ideal candidate will have experience of operating a CNC Router and working with wood and/or acrylics, as well as a keen eye for quality and precision.

As a CNC Router Operator, your day-to-day may involve setting up the CNC router for specific jobs, inspecting finished components for quality and accuracy, and collaborating with the production team to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate CNC routers to fabricate wooden and acrylic parts according to blueprints and specifications
  • Inspect finished components for quality and accuracy, reporting any issues and necessary adjustments to the Supervisor
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure efficient workflow and quality output

Experience:

  • Proven experience as a CNC Router Operator or similar role
  • Good understanding of machining processes and materials
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Reliable and punctual
