Opportunity for mechanical technicians to undertake heavy maintenance, repairs and servicing on heavy diesel locomotives

Your New Opportunity

• Carry out heavy maintenance on a fleet of locomotives never before maintained or serviced in the East Midlands
• Become a valued member of the team helping to keep these locomotives serviced and in full working order
• Working to written vehicle maintenance instructions (VMI’s) to complete examinations and inspections of the trains

The Candidate

• You will have previous experience of working on Locomotives
• You will have experience of working on all heavy underframe components such as bogies, wheelsets, engines, gearboxes and drive trains etc
• You will be a team player with the experience to work independently – a problem solver with an aptitude to think on your feet and carry out a wide range of maintenance tasks
• You must be able to pass a medical and drug and alcohol test
