Logistics People are currently looking for reliable and tech-savvy Digital Trailer Tow Operators to join our team. This role involves towing our digital trailer to various locations around the UK and ensuring the ads are displayed effectively.

Location: Across the UK (Head Office Based in Corby, Northamptonshire)

Working Hours: Ad Hoc basis

Pay Rate: £13.50 p/h

Position Overview:

As a Digital Trailer Tow Operator, you will be responsible for towing a small trailer equipped with digital LED screens displaying advertisements. You will drive the trailer to pre-determined high-traffic areas, ensure proper setup, and monitor the functionality of the digital displays. This is a perfect role for those who enjoy driving, working independently, and interacting with digital technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely tow digital ad trailers to designated locations using a company vehicle.
  • Set up and position the trailer in high-visibility areas to maximize ad exposure.
  • Monitor digital ads on LED screens, ensuring they display correctly throughout the day.
  • Operate basic digital controls for screen brightness, ad scheduling, and troubleshooting any minor technical issues.
  • Perform routine trailer and display inspections to ensure all equipment is functioning properly (e.g., power supply, screen quality, trailer connection).
  • Communicate with the operations team to provide updates on ad performance and trailer positioning.
  • Comply with traffic and parking regulations when towing and positioning the trailer in public spaces.

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
  • Experience towing small trailers would be beneficial but not required.
  • Basic knowledge of digital display technology or willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work independently and follow GPS directions for route planning.
  • Excellent attention to detail to ensure proper trailer setup and ad performance.
  • Flexible schedule, as some shifts may include evenings or weekends depending on advertising campaigns.
