Staffpower Group are currently working with an ever-growing company who specialise in machinery manufacturing based in the Stanley area.
We are looking for a CNC Machinist to start ASAP.
Shifts & Salary:
Day shift
Monday Thursday 8am 4:30pm
Friday 8am 1pm
£13.40 per hour
Basic Outline:
Efficiently set up CNC machines based on job specifications.
Operate CNC machines to produce precision components within tolerances.
Monitor machine performance, making adjustments for optimal production.
Read and interpret technical drawings;
Check first offs
Conduct in-process inspections, and troubleshooting issues to ensure quality standards.
Collaborate with engineering for design feedback and continuous improvement.
Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines for optimal functionality.
Maintain accurate records of setups, tool changes, and production runs.
Essential Requirements:
Proven CNC Machinist experience. (Experience with Haas & Hurco Machines preferred)
Proficient in reading technical drawings.
Strong troubleshooting skills and commitment to high-quality work.
Solid understanding of machine tooling, cutting speeds, and feeds.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
Experience programming and writing G codes (desirable)
Permanent contracts may be given from 12 week Overtime available
