KCR Solutions are delighted to be working exclusively to recruit a Finance Manager for a growing company based in Stanley, Co. Durham. This role would suit an ambitious and driven individual who is actively studying, qualified or a QBE accountant. The successful candidate will report directly to the MD and play a vital role during an exciting time for the business. Main duties will include:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Responsible for the annual accounts preparation and liaising with external accountants
  • Preparation of monthly and annual forecasts and cashflow forecasts
  • Preparation of annual budgets
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Variance analysis
  • VAT returns
  • Producing KPI’s and other ad-hoc information for management
  • Maintenance of fixed asset register
  • Accruals and prepayments
  • Liaising with other departments to assist and advise with budgets
  • Managing the finance team
  • Ad-hoc project as required

You will have strong IT skills, particularly Word and Excel. An individual who can be commercially involved in the business, who can lead and develop a small team and be 'hands on' within the business as required.
