Venn Group have been approached by a Housing Assocation provider and would like to introduce the following position available

Position:          Child and Young Person Support Worker (Domestic abuse service) 

Location:         County Durham (Stanley)

Rate:               Negotiable depending on experience

Length:            Until September 2025 with opportunity to go permanent

Hours:             37.5 hours p/week, Monday - Sunday

Key Responsibilities include:

  • To co-operate with all members of the residential team in ensuring a safe environment is maintained 
  • To assist in creating a safe, clean, and secure environment to the highest standards of health and safety for all 
  • To conduct audits, assessments, inventories, risk assessments, including Health & Safety audits and other administrative tasks required for the effective running of the service
  • To develop care plans and review plans, co-ordinate support and take part in core groups with the MDT and service users on a regular basis

To be considered for this role you will need to have an enhanced DBS on the update service and previous experience working with Children
