Nursery Chef

£32,000 per annum + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

Stanmore, Middlesex

We are looking for an experienced Chef to provide daily snacks, lunch and tea for 70 children aged between 3 months and 5 years. We only use fresh ingredients which are prepared in our high spec commercial kitchen.

Our ideal Nursery Chef will have experience cooking for young children and have a good working knowledge of special dietary requirements.

You will need to be a team player, have excellent organisational skills and a genuine interest to work in the Childcare sector. You will have the support of two Kitchen Assistants.

Knowledge of HACCP/COSHH and having a current food hygiene certificate are essential as responsibilities will extend to maintaining our high standards of kitchen hygiene.

Hours of work: 35-40 hours per week

You will need:

  • Knowledge of HACCP/COSHH
  • Current food hygiene certificate
  • A genuine interest to work in the Childcare sector
  • Nursery experience is ideal, but not essential
