 As a CNC Setter Programmer, you will set existing products on CNC milling machining centres, including downloading programs, setting of tools and fixtures and making required adjustments to offsets.Â
In your first few weeks in this CNC Setter Programmer role, you can expect to:
- Change tools and tips
- Online programming on milling machine centres
- Set new fixtures and check programs for new products
- Carry out in-process inspection checks, including the use of air gauging, and document where appropriate
- Operate CMM for measurement checks.
 To apply for this CNC Setter programmer role, you will need experience of HAAS, Mazak and Matsura machining centres. You will also need the following:
- Experience with online programming using Fanuc and or Mazak/Mazatrol controls
- The ability to work using your initiative
- Good interpersonal skills
- A methodical approach to work.
