An excellent opportunity has arisen to work for our established client based on site at eh Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore. Your role can be home based but there will be regular travel to the RNOH site, so you need to live in close proximity.

As the Medical Devices Trainer providing face-to-face and online training on the use of designated medical equipment to current and new clinical staff at all levels.

As the Medical Devices Trainer, you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying medical device training needs for clinical professional users and deliver or facilitate appropriate medical device training
  • Supplement OEM training on high-risk devices
  • Maintaining the learning management system
  • Advise and support the medical device risk assessment process
  • Assist in developing strategies for training
  • Determine appropriate arrangements for refresher training

The successful Medical Devices Trainer will have the following related skills / experience:

  • Experience of, and familiarity with using or training on a range of medical devices
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience of delivering training, ideally in a clinical setting
  • Good understanding of clinical processes and conditions, and of indications for use of different medical devices and their limitations.
