We are recruiting for a Personal Tax & Accounts Senior on behalf of a successful, boutique, general accountancy practice that is enjoying a period of growth. You will be joining a firm that specialise in providing an extensive range of services to small and medium-sized businesses.
This is a local and progressive firm offering a good work/life balance, with a core understanding of the value of collaboration and as such the role is 100% office based.
Whilst advertised as a Senior, the firm would consider applications at Semi-Senior level at the lower end of the salary range advertised.
As Personal Tax & Accounts Senior, your responsibilities will include:
- Accounts (Company Accounts, Self Employed Accounts, Rental Accounts)
- Company Tax Returns 20%
- Personal Tax Returns 80%
- Liaise with clients and HMRC, dealing with tax queries
- Work from outsourcers
We welcome applications, for the position of Personal Tax & Accounts Senior, from candidates with the following skills, experience and attributes:
- Ideally be qualified ACCA or ACA although part qualified and strong qualified by experience candidates will be considered
- Minimum 5 years of UK practice experience
- Experience of managing deadlines
- Capable of effective and professional communications with clients (by phone/email/letter)
- Strong IT skills, experience of tax and accounting packages and happy to learn new software packages if applicable
