This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire and support students in their journey to success. You will have the chance to work with students at various levels and help them develop the skills and knowledge needed for further education or their future careers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teaching & Lesson Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Maths lessons tailored to the needs of students at various levels.
  • Assessment & Feedback: Develop and implement assessments to monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
  • Student Support: Offer additional support to students, ensuring that learning challenges are addressed and their individual learning needs are met.
  • Curriculum Development: Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development and improvement of the Maths curriculum and resources.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment where students are encouraged to excel.
  • Progress Monitoring: Regularly track and review student progress, ensuring timely intervention where required to ensure successful outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
  • A teaching qualification (ideally at Level 5 or equivalent).
  • A degree in Mathematics or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Proven experience in teaching Mathematics in a Further Education or equivalent educational setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the Mathematics curriculum and assessment methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment and supporting student achievement.
