Duties of an Account Manager:
- Support with the growth and development of their key accounts.
- Identify new business opportunities within their accounts - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products and services.
- Carry out sales forecasts and analysis, presenting findings to senior management.
- Maintain existing sales turnover within accounts, as well as looking for areas to grow and develop these accounts both locally and globally.
- Respond to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods.
- Attend and present at external customer meetings both in the UK and globally.
Skills and experience required of an Account Manager:
- 2-3 years Account Management experience, in the same industry.
- Experience of managing high value accounts.
- Ability to translate a client brief into a range of products that meet a client’s expectations.
- Highly organised, methodical, and ability to multi-task successfully.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
