Description

  • Reporting: Directly report to the Managing Director (MD).
  • Team Oversight: Provide oversight and check work done by the administration team.
  • Accounting:
  • Gather and correlate management information for MD.
  • Handle purchase invoices, sales invoices, and account reconciliation.
  • Prepare monthly business figures and quarterly VAT return details.
  • Administration Management:
  • Prepare documentation for client review meetings.
  • Upload post-review documentation and manage filing.
  • Facilities Management:
  • Liaise with external suppliers (stationary, IT, phones).
  • Manage recycling, waste disposal, and shredding.
  • Monitor online access logs.
  • Marketing: Coordinate electronic and written marketing campaigns.
  • HR:
  • Manage sickness and holiday logs.
  • Prepare new starter packs and handle onboarding.
  • Compliance:
  • Maintain compliance calendar.
  • Distribute monthly compliance guidance.
  • Prepare information for various returns as needed

Profile

A successful Administrator should have:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of the Independent Financial Advisor/Financial Services industry would be advantageous.
