We are seeking a passionate and dedicated History Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in history education, a commitment to student engagement, and the ability to inspire students to explore and understand the past.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging history lessons aligned with state standards.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through various methods, providing timely feedback and support.
- Foster critical thinking and analytical skills through discussions, projects, and research assignments.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and participate in school activities and events.
Qualifications:
- DBS on update service
- QTS.
- Experience teaching history at KS3 and KS4
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for history and a commitment to student success.
