Are you a caring and dedicated individual with a passion for supporting students' learning and development? Join us as a Learning Support Assistant at our schools in Stanstead and play a crucial role in helping students achieve their full potential, starting immediately.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other education professionals to provide tailored support to students who may require additional assistance with their learning. Your role will involve working one-on-one with students, as well as providing support to small groups, to help them overcome barriers to learning and achieve academic success.

We are seeking compassionate individuals who are committed to making a positive difference in students' lives. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a patient and empathetic nature.

As a Learning Support Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing one-on-one support to students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), helping them to access the curriculum and participate fully in classroom activities.
  • Assisting teachers in planning and delivering lessons, adapting materials and resources to meet the individual needs of students.
  • Supporting students with their social and emotional development, helping them to build confidence and self-esteem.
  • Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teachers and SEND coordinators.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and outside agencies to ensure the holistic support of students with SEND.

The successful candidate will be dedicated, adaptable, and willing to work as part of a team to support the diverse needs of students. Previous experience working with students with SEND is desirable but not essential.
