Morson Talent is recruiting for a leading MRO and seeking an experienced B1 Licensed Engineer to manage day-to-day aircraft maintenance inputs and projects at our client’s site. This role includes the certification of all maintenance activities in line with current certification privileges.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Shift Pattern: 12-hour shifts, night shift

Job Purpose: As a B1 Licensed Engineer, you will ensure that all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance events are completed to the highest standards, ensuring compliance with both regulatory and company standards. You’ll maintain safety and quality standards during the certification of all base, line, and AOG maintenance support events.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a team of engineers, overseeing maintenance inputs and projects.
Ensure the team meets financial, commercial, and engineering targets.
Hold company approvals for aircraft type engine run-up authorisation.
Communicate progress of projects through daily reports and meetings.
Liaise with hangar management, support services, and customer representatives.
Authorise repair requests and high-cost spares.
Maintain quality standards and oversee handovers between shifts and departments.
Requirements:

Full unrestricted ‘B1’ license.
Type-rated on Embraer 170/190.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage resources in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
Engine ground run approval and experience with aircraft maintenance certification.
