Permanent Aviation Quality Engineer opportunity available on the west side of Essex.
Part 145 client is seeking someone with strong experience in AS9100/ EASA/FAA/CAA to join their busy team.


The Quality Engineer will help maintain a robust quality system that complies with the above regulations and standards, including ISO 9110, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.

Role: Part 145 Quality Engineer
Location: Stansted
Salary: £40K to £45K depending on experience
Hours: 07:30-17:00 Mon-Thurs. 07:30-13:30 every other Friday. Average 39 hours per week.

Main responsibilities:

  • Promote, monitor and be the SME regarding compliance with regulatory requirements and standards, and implement procedures and practices across the business to meet these standards.
  • To perform internal investigations as to determine root cause failures and develop effective solutions.
  • Control the authorisation of employees and maintaining the employee competence
  • Maintain accuracy of documentation within the quality system.
  • To complete suppliers’ approvals.
  • Assist with the implementation of new authority approvals.
  • Responsible for authorisation of Quality Assurance related documentation and process approval, as directed by the Quality Manager.


Ideal candidate profile:

  • Previous Quality Engineer experience within the aviation industry.
  • Fluent oral and written English.
  • Already holds the right to live and work in the UK at the time of application. No sponsorships can be provided now, or in the future.
