Class 1 Personnel are working with one of the leading clients to supply catering to the aviation market at Stansted Airport, to recruit HGV drivers on a permanent basis.

The Role:
As part of our driving team you will be responsible for customer service and delivery catering to various airports. The Catering team also provides a concierge service sourcing items the VIP requests.
Being a valued part of the team enables that our client continues to offer the best customer service and food of the highest quality to our extremely prestigious customer base, which includes Royalty, Heads of State and the world's top companies and personalities.
The Candidate:
Successful candidates will possess excellent communication skills and professional as you will be liaising with clients and flight attendants to help them load the catering on the aircraft.
Previous experience in the catering industry or the aviation world would be an advantage but not essential.
Included in the clients fleet are high-loaders, therefore you must be willing to get or have your HGV licence. Our client is committed to the continuous training and development of all staff, creating the opportunity for career progression.
Please note that due to the nature of the business and DfT requirements, we must be able to obtain references for 5 years previous work history.
Working 5 days in 7 on 8-10 hour shifts we are looking for flexible HGV drivers who are happy to drive different classes of vehicle from 3.5 up to HGV1
Depending on experience we can offer a salary in the region of 29k to 33k per year with the usual benefits you would expect from such a role. This position is being offered as a permanent vacancy.
