About the opportunity:
We are looking for an individual who will Specialise on Utilities and peform the following tasks:
- Manage and allocate daily utility tasks to the Utility Coordinator, ensuring progress until completion.
- Produce and maintain utility schedules, strategy documents, and drawings for each project, from planning to handover.
- Conduct site visits with the Infrastructure Manager, record visible utility apparatus, and prepare detailed reports and drawings.
- Develop and update site utility strategies, working closely with architects and the design team.
- Prepare multi-utility tenders, analyse quotes, and make recommendations for best value.
- Support the Design Manager with queries during site delivery and assist the Pre-construction team with drawings and reports.
- Organize and manage utility documentation, ensuring all records are accurate, accessible, and adhere to company procedures.
- Communicate effectively across teams, identify potential savings, and continuously improve departmental systems and processes.
About the benefits and rewards:
The salary will be dependent on the level of exposure to the industry. The company offers excellent opportunities and offers a basic salary in the region of up to £55k DOE. In addition to the basic salary there will be further company benefits.
About the requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years in the Multi-Utility Industry.
- To have a basic, practical and demonstrable knowledge of producing layout plans describing multi utility schemes.
- To have a good understanding of the various current Utility provider developer guidelines.
- To be computer literate i.e. Word, Excel, Email, AutoCAD, Bluebeam.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail with disciplined record keeping
- Strong negotiation abilities and basic cost management knowledge
- High standard of personal presentation and clean driving license
