Our client, a leading fit-out contractor, is seeking a highly skilled Lead Commercial Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor to deliver excellence on prestigious commercial fit-out projects within the airport and transportation hub sectors. What Were Looking For:
- Proven experience in commercial projects, ideally within fit-out.
- Expertise in cost management across multiple projects with a combined value of up to GBP10 million.
- Strong leadership skills to guide and mentor a team of Quantity Surveyors.
Skills, Attributes, and Qualifications:
- Academic Background: A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Membership with a recognised professional body such as RICS or CIOB (MRICS or equivalent preferred).
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction contracts, particularly JCT.
- Proficiency in industry-standard tools like CostX, Bluebeam, or Procore.
- Advanced analytic skills for estimating, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Awareness of health and safety standards (e.g., NEBOSH or SMSTS certifications).
