This role will require the successful candidate to fulfil a variety of tasks from storage maintenance to material inspection and moving pallets on a forklift. A suitable candidate will have excellent communication as they liaise with multiple different departments and accurately record inventory levels, as well as strong organisational skills.

The Role:

• Book in and check raw materials, consumables, and returning parts from subcontracting against order requirements
• Receive and inspect raw materials in line with specifications, ensuring correct handling and storage conditions
• Book out fixtures, assign them with job cards and raw materials, and ensure their return and correct storage after use
• Perform inventory control, ensuring proper organisation and accurate logging of material locations
• Oversee consumable tooling and stock, raise requisitions for procurement and ensure smooth running of tool stores and vending services
• Record transactions on the stock recording system for issuing regrind / new tooling

The Person:

• Proven experience in a similar role
• Experience with conductivity testing and visual inspection
• Full UK Driving License and Forklift License
