Avionics Maintenance Supervisor - New opportunity for an experienced B2 licenced engineer with supervisory skills to join this corporate and business Jet MRO. You must have Business Jet type ratings (Embraer and/or Bombardier)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Inspire: Manage a team of avionics engineers, conduct appraisals, and oversee daily operations.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide support for service bulletins and modifications, ensuring technical excellence.
  • Efficient Management: Oversee C5 approvals and Battery Bay operations, ensuring smooth work flows.
  • Project Coordination: Report progress, manage manpower, and coordinate with hangar management.
  • Resource Management: Collaborate for parts procurement, repairs, and technical information. Authorise repair requests and manage high-cost spares.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to company and health & safety procedures. Oversee quality control for timely service releases.
  • Customer Engagement: Maintain communication with customer representatives and address their requests.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement productivity enhancements and cost reductions.

Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership and organisational skills.
  • Full unrestricted B2 licence.
  • Recognised apprenticeship in the aviation industry.
  • Experience in leading teams in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
