Aviation Safety & Compliance Manager - Opportunity to spearhead the safety management system and oversee the quality & compliance monitoring systems within this established and respected aircraft maintenance organisation. This crucial role ensures compliance with CAA/EASA standards and various National Regulatory bodies requirements.

You will naturally have the depth of knowledge and understanding of airworthiness regulations, associated with Part 145 to be a registered form 4 holder. In addition, you will have the experience to advise the accountable person on points of safety & compliance.

Principal Duties:

  • Conduct and supervise compliance audits, manage discrepancies, and champion ongoing enhancement of performance and quality.
  • Formulate, document, and implement proprietary processes, standards, and guidelines.
  • Oversee Part 145 certifying staff authorisations and maintain records of personnel competency assessments.
  • Execute the yearly audit plan and guarantee resolution of any discrepancies.
  • Manage the Safety & Compliance team.
  • Update and adjust organisational procedures to align with Part-145 updates.
  • Evaluate subcontractors and oversee maintenance tasks performed outside approved premises.
  • Point of contact for the competent authority for updates, amendments and notifications.
  • Manage all compliance & Safety issues for the FBO in line with the IS-BAH standard.
