Junior Stores Role in Aircraft Maintenance. This is a rare opportunity to start a career in aviation working on a Monday - Friday shift, 8am - 4:30pm. The role is working in an aircraft hangar environment, handling, inspecting, and logging aircraft parts and materials, all while keeping up with tight deadlines and exacting quality and trace-ability standards.

Key parts of the job:

  • Get aircraft parts, consumables, and tools to our engineers.
  • Keep track of inventory, check shelf life, and see if tools need calibration.
  • Do basic inspections of aircraft parts. (training given)
  • Make sure all items you send out arrive safely, especially dangerous goods.
  • Manage and dispose of waste.
  • Keep documentation and files up to date.
  • Ensure storage and handling meet regulations.
  • Help improve our operations and keep the work-space tidy.

You should have good computer skills and a counterbalance forklift licence or some forklift experience would be an advantage, (but training can be given).
