About the role
This role requires hands-on expertise in testing, inspecting, repairing, and overhauling electrical components, including GCU’s, emergency power supplies, pyrometers, and galley heaters. MRO experience would be highly beneficial.
Key responsibilities:
- Carry out workshop activities within the Avionics and Heater departments to meet customer demands
- Inspect, test, and repair electrical components
- Provide feedback on daily operational issues and update scheduling boards
- Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and safety regulations
- Maintain high health, safety, and environmental standards
What we're looking for
Experience:
- Previous experience in a workshop or engineering environment
- Heating system expertise is essential
- MRO experience is highly desirable
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical documentation
- Organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- A team player with excellent communication skills
- Safety-conscious with a proactive approach to compliance
